How to Add/Install Google Analytics in Blogger?

Blogger Stats Provides information about our blog pageviews and traffic sources also but to know our visitors very well we need to know about which people are visiting our blog, where they are, how much time they spend on our blog etc. These features are provided us by Google Analytics which gives us full information about our visitors whether it is anytime in the past or real time. Google Analytics also enables us to check bounce rate, unique visitors and much more. It is very important to add Google Analytics to know about our visitors and serve them more better. Today I am going to tell you about adding Google Analytics to Blogger Blogs.
Creating Google Analytics Account:

We need to create a Google Analytics account before adding tracking code to our blog. Follow these steps to create Google Analytics Account:

  1. Go to Google Analytics.
  2. Now sign in with your Google or Gmail account.
  3. Click on “Sign Up” button on the next page.
  4. Once you click the sign up button you will see a sign up form where you have to fill your Website Name, Website Url etc.
  5. Once you fill all the details click on “Get Tracking ID” button.
  6. Now click on “I Accept” on “GOOGLE ANALYTICS TERMS OF SERVICE” pop up page.
  7. Then you will get a Tracking ID like “UA-xxxxxxxx-1″ at the top left corner and a Tracking code in a box. Now let’s jump to the next step.
Adding Analytics Tracking Code to Blogger:
You need to perform two simple steps to add Analytics to Blogger. Follow below steps:
  1. Go to Blogger >> Settings >> Other
  2. Now under the “Analytics Web Property ID” enter your Tracking ID in the text field.
  3. Click on “Save Settings” button.
Adding Tracking Code:
  1. Go to Blogger >> Template >> Edit HTML
  2. Backup your blog template.
  3. Now search for </body> tag:
  4. And paste your Tracking Code just above it.
  5. Save the template and You are Done!
